Dementia is a term used to describe a group of symptoms affecting memory, thinking and social abilities severely enough to interfere with your daily life. It isn't a specific disease.
It refers to a group of nervous system (neurological) conditions that cause abnormal increased movements, which may be voluntary or involuntary. Movement disorders can also cause slow movements.
Autism, also called autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a complicated condition that includes problems with communication and behavior. It can involve a wide range of symptoms and skills.
Epilepsy is a central nervous system (neurological) disorder in which brain activity becomes abnormal, causing seizures or periods of unusual behavior, sensations and sometimes loss of awareness.
NCS is also called a nerve conduction velocity study (NCV) measures how fast an electrical impulse moves through your nerve. During the test, your nerve is stimulated with electrode patches attached to your skin.
A stroke, sometimes called a brain attack, occurs when something blocks blood supply to part of the brain or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts. In either case, parts of the brain become damaged or die.
Migraine is a headache that can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. It's often accompanied by nausea, vomiting & extreme sensitivity to light and sound.
Vertigo is a sensation that the environment around you is spinning in circles. It can make you feel dizzy and off-balance. Vertigo isn't a disease. Rather, it's a symptom of varying conditions.
Electromyography (EMG) is a diagnostic procedure to assess the health of muscles and the nerve cells that control them (motor neurons). EMG results can reveal nerve dysfunction, muscle dysfunction.
Dr. Prabhjeet is a good doctor in my opinion. He made an extra effort to see things from the patients' perspective and deal with them accordingly. He's already seen two members of my family. I hope he will be able to assist many more patients in the future.
The only word that comes to mind about Dr. Prabhjeet is “Godsent.” My mother was admitted with loss of neurological function, and we had lost all hope of her recovery – she lost her verbalization, ambulation, swallowing ability due to some type of brain disorder. It was only because of Dr. Prabhjeet and his skills that my mom is back to normal. Also, his bedside manners are amazing for a professional of such a high caliber. Also, I also appreciate the support that his staff has provided, especially Shilpa ma’am. Her administrative skills have been exemplary and so is the personal touch in her approach towards patients and their family members.
